funky Figgio Flint
we were very lucky to find this little gem of 1960's Norwegian design .
we are still trolling through every charity shop in the west to find items like this.
he may be a big border but he is a wimp
this was taken at Bowood house dog show. He really is a bigger than average border however he ain't fond of the little ones !

new abstract pottery find
we were pleased to find these items on ebay - made in Vallauris in the south of France in the 1950's/ 60's , they reflect the influence Picasso has left on that town.
River marden in flood
this was a few minutes ago, it has burst its banks again. One of our neighbours front garden is now a lake.... Happy days!

Recent Additions
This is a fab example of a Lisa larson figure from the animal series by gustavsberg. We're constantly on the look out for other animals and her people series 'Pel'.
This weekend the weather has been typical for a UK Bank Holiday, wet wet windy and wet, so our chance of finding some new treasures has been limited

We've got an extensive Midwinter collection from the 50's onwards, this is one of our favourites by the fantastic designer Jessie Tait. We love the de-constructed image of the flower and the way the plate is always facing the right way up. So simple and so clever
